Day 7. Progress!

Hello Everyone, I am back for Day 7. and kicking myself a little bit with this card base lol.

I love stamping scenes like this and it’s when I am happiest. The only thing is this is like three cards in one lol. So much to do to prep for my class next week and all I want to do is just want to finish this scene. Thats why I am kicking myself.

You can find out all the details on this in yesterday’s post here. Let’s see if I can finish this up.

I loved the video, what a surprise!
I don’t need to kick myself to do something, I was too impatient because I wanted to continue with my image. And then it went wrong, colour came outside the lines and I tried to clean it with a damp brush ( I am colouring with Distress ink) and that didn’t do the job so I used a waterbased blender pen and I made it worse. So I have to think hard what to do about that, a eraser wouldn’t work here regrettably.
Your card is going to be awesome, those bears are so great, the texture is stunning as always.
Thank you for sharing and showing, see you tomorrow. Happy colouring.

Oh my gosh, I so totally get what you are saying here! I am also coloring a Mandela & it’s intricate, very intricate! When I think I get a bunch of it done, I see that I have a lot more to do. I feel like I will never finish it! Sometimes I get tired of doing it because it takes me so long to do the whole thing. My sister gave me this coloring book & I love it but wow, it takes forever to do one thing! I will never finish this book ever!
I can’t wait to see how this looks when it is done because I love the flowers! They are so pretty. I’m waiting for tomorrows e-mail!

The bears are SUPER SUPER CUTE and your colouring MAGICAL!
… I will have to try the rag technique for texture … I have tried it once before and it ended up in such a mess, not sure if I had it too wet, held it too long or didn’t have enough texture in my rag … think I will make some test patches and practice practice practice!
