Inspire Me Monday – Watercolor

Helllloooo Friends! How are you? How was your weekend? Today I am a guest on the Power Poppy blog for another one of their “Inspire Me” features.

Check out their blog to see how this painting was enhanced and how I altered this stamp. Soooo easy but, fun!

This card is super tall and measures 10 inches. Honestly I am having so much fun making larger or taller projects now that I have that big ole misty. Ahhh makes my life so much easier. I used to let the paper hang off the misti when stamping my image and I would never get a good stamped image.

If you have a minute I would love for you to pop over the The Power Poppy blog to see my post. No pressure! It’s super late and I don’t have the time to give you all the details here. Have a wonderful week and I am so thrilled you stopped by. Big hugs, Kathy

This is so gorgeous and I love the Amaryllis (holiday flower or not!) for any card. It is such a beautiful bloom. Thanks Kathy for the tips on how to show the highlights, it DOES make sense that as long as you have the contrast of the light & dark and leave some white space your light source wouldn’t really matter, especially for on a card. (I can see if it was on a wall painting you may want it to be more realistic but on a card it looks wonderful anyway. Does that make sense? LOL)
