Hello Friends! How are you? It’s Day 2. and I am loving everything that you guys are sharing and coloring! Nothing like stop …. drop and color hahah!! Thanks for inspiring me!!
Yesterday I mentioned that I am at Jennifer’s Doves Boot Camp and today (it’s still “today” here in Arizona) was the first day and I am already learning some new tips …. like swirls that I will share with you tomorrow. Today was dots as most of you know I love. This sweet image is from La La Land Crafts and this image is full of open spaces … perfect for layers of dots.
The face is the part that I am really exited to learn more about adding facial features with shading.

Welcome to AZ Kathy! I did the boot camp a few years ago with Jennifer, it was great! I missed seeing you when you were here in October, as I was visiting family in MN and Iowa. We are having lovely weather for you, not too hot! Enjoy your time at boot camp, I’m guessing you are here visiting some family as well. I wish I could see you! I’m of course joining your challenge once again, I need to work on my Christmas card, I make 70 so need to get going. I started working on a page in a Christmas coloring book last night, to get me in the mood.

Looks very good Kathy! I am working on a background for a card, but it does not work what I had in mind. But I do not give up, I have already an other idea for it. Have fun on your boot camp and hope to see/hear you tomorrow!

Of course your baby chick has my favorite color in the whole wide world in it & I am loving it! It is just way to cute! Adorable for Easter but it’s so cute it makes me sad that I had a scrambled egg for breakfast. LOL We’ve been to AZ so I have seen cactus but that seems bigger then I remember. Maybe that’s because that is a real close up photo?
I don’t get your comments about the dots. I see dots in your coloring but I don’t get how you did it. Do you have a video I could watch? I love dots & have done dots on cards but they don’t look like yours.
What do you do when you can’t afford Copics? They aren’t cheap. What are a good kind that do what Copics do but aren’t that expensive? I have a few Copies & I’ve bought them when they are on sale but I can’t afford the ones I need to do a whole coloring page or card.
