Day 6. Video and Hero Arts Hop

Ack such technical problems today so this  might end up in your inbox again. Sooo sorry and thanks for your patience. The video should be all set now.

Hello friends. Welcome to Day 6 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. (I am updating my post and removing the sneak peek)  Today’s card is part of a fun blog hop celebrating the March MMH Kit from Hero Arts and the kit is another great one & another incredible value! WOW a $75 value for an amazing deal at $34.99. C.R.A.Z.Y. right 🙂

Easter is around the corner and I thought it would be fun to make some shaped place cards. These could double as greeting cards if you aren’t entertaining. Watch the video here and I am always grateful for those thumbs up.

My place card holders were super fun to create and they easily stand up on their own. I used several of the add ons from the kit. Love this stamp set called, “Produce & Seeds” so many fun possibilities and the bunny die cut is nice and large … love that. Check out this great bunny here.

I die cut the bunny twice and scored the back of the ears to attach the 2nd bunny… this allows the place card to stand up. After gluing down all the veggies I cut a banner and added it to the basket with my family’s names. Seriously … F.U.N. !! Once I was finished I had the idea to colored some twine, tie a bow and glue it down to the basket with some glossy accents.

I emailed Copic about one of my markers “blooping out” as you said. The response was very fast and fixed the problem. I had taken my markers on a plane trip and the pressure needed to be corrected.
Open the Copic marker at both ends and lay it flat for a few minute (3ish?). Then try again. It fixed my marker and saved future projects!

    • Kathy Racoosin says

      March 7, 2017 at 8:38 pm

Awesome Di Di. Glad you fixed the problem. Sometimes the pressure gets unequalized unfortunately. At least your marker is nice and juicy!!!
