12 Days of Deals w/ Honey Bee

img_2429-1

Hi Everyone! How are you? Today I am part of Honey Bee’s 12 Designers of Christmas event with special sales. How exciting!  My project features the “Country Wreath“ stamp set & the coordinating dies. The sentiment is from “Let it Snow” and the sweet lil bird is from the same stamp set. Did someone say discount …. yes please … I think 20% off is a great incentive for a last minute gift for you lol! All you need to do is go to the Honey Bee blog for special links with the discounts.

When I need to die cut lots of small pieces I only separate them were it’s necessary. For example the pieces in the wreath. This easier and less fussing around plus you won’t loose those small bits.

The “Let It Snow” stamp set has some fun elements that work with other stamp sets. Some distress ink , a large dot stencil & a distress tool will always give me a quick & easy background.

A quick check before glueing my images down. I added some foam tape behind the wreath.

On the bow I made cuts so it would fluff up a bit. I stamped, colored & cut another bird to glue on top of the stamped bird. I cut a little slit under his wing to tuck a branch.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks to Honey Bee for letting me play with their beautiful stamps. I am missing you all!!  Hugs, Kathy

Awww Kathy, that is really pretty. Love the stenciled dots for the background, it really sets off the wreath. TFS!

Such a fun card, Kathy, obviously done with love. I do love wreaths, but I think the little bird holding the twig is my favorite part. I realized I left all my coloring stuff at my niece’s at Thanksgiving (she’s 9 and so much fun). She got her own bag of goodies, too, but I had to go buy some markers until they can get it all sent back. I’m coloring, though, thanks to you.
