Pretty Pink Posh Hop-Prizes

augustbloghop

Hello Friends, How has your week been. I am back today for a blog hop with Pretty Pink Posh. They are having a product release blog hop and I am super excited to be part of the hop and I think you are going to love the new goodies.

IMG_0072

For the hop I created an assortment of cards with watercolors, colored pencils and copic markers PLUS a video.

IMG_0071

You all know how much I love butterflies and this mini set from PPP is a must have.. it’s called, “Blissful Butterflies“. The butterflies were stamped repeatedly with some Worn Lipstick ink. Then…. I colored them with these colored pencils. Sequins are a must because that’s how Pretty Pink Posh got started … with sequins!

Looking for a good glue for sequins? I have discovered Matte Medium is best for me.

IMG_0076

Making shaped cards are my favorite so I was pretty happy to get these Stitched Hexagons. I used my jumbo scissors to trim a white boarder around the largest hexagon. Keep the tent in your head… you will know what I mean soon. Various ink and a textured rag gave me lots of texture on my card colored with alcohol markers. (I used the leaves to stamp a pattern on the tent)

IMG_0075

This shaped card was fun. I die cut several of the mini hexagons in the die set and watercolored them. Once they were dry I glued them down with some glossy accents, trimmed the excess hexagons off my card base and stamped the “Hello” from the Blissful Butterfly stamp set.

IMG_0070

Ok remember I said to keep the tent in your head? Watch the video to see how I used the tent to create this graphic card.
