Day 11. Stamp Altering

coloring-challenge-e1467756060209

Hi… it’s me again 🙂 How are you today? I am here today with a quick post. Excited to share this coloring with Lawn Fawn’s adorable stamp sets.

FullSizeRender 2

….. it’s ok to put a mermaid in a fish tank right? I love creating little scenes and Lawn Fawn’s Fintastic Friends and Mermaid For You were my inspiration today.

IMG_4315

I elongated the fish tag by masking off the side with a blue post it note. The photo above also show the building of the scene with masking paper. Thanks to the mini misti for making my masking life much easier.

On another note Simon just Released it’s Master Box …it’s pretty great if you are one of shoppers that like to buy a bundle so I wanted to share. Here’s a bit about the box in Simon’s words. “A collection of the industry’s finest releases in one incredible box! This Masterpiece box has a little of everything and a lot of inspiration! But don’t wait! This box is a very limited time offer.  You can receive products before the brands release!”

Such a sweet little scene, Kathy!
As for the SSS Master Box, I would rather make my own selection of stamps and dies if I were to spend $200 at once. But that’s my personal opinion.

Thanks for the masking photos. I’ve never tried elongating an image but will look through my stamps to see which ones will work for this technique.

Able to color on the go for the first time! Brought my pre-stamped panels, watercolor pencils and aqua brush with me to the hospital and colored while I waited for my friend to have tests done.

We used to have a fish tank. A 20 gallon one years ago. We had lots of fish and we had a mermaid in the tank. Not a real one obviously but we did have one.
The mermaid and the merman is so adorable! You did such a nice job with it. I’ve never done masking before but I have heard of it. I’ll have to watch how you did it so I can try it. Thanks for showing it to us. I love Lawn Fawn too! So many great stamps companies, so little money to spend it on.
