Day 7. It’s All About You & Winners

IMG_0795

Hello Friends, How are you?  I am so excited because today is a new feature of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge. It’s is a new feature called “It’s All About You” and it’s all about featuring some of you each Sunday. The only problem is I don’t want any hurt feelings. Each one of you is talented in different ways…even… if you are a beginner or not. So please keep that in mind. (I think you all are fantastic)

Before we get started I wanted to announce a few winners. A big congrats to the winners below  Patti will be emailing you. (Patti is my prize assistant extraordinaire & she keeps me on track with all of these giveaways).

The winner of The goodie bag is KT Fit Kitty as seen in this post.

The winner of Stamping Bella stamp is Lucy Schmidt as seen in this post is.

The winner of goodie bag & storage case is Barb Ghig as seen in this post.

Ok let’s get started with “It’s All About You” feature. For the past six days I have been looking out for things that have grabbed my attention. I will add a short sentence about that and then credit the person.

I am s-o-o-o glad I don’t know how to upload my coloring. I am SUCH an amateur. But I am still having fun. Pulled out some of my favorite stamps today and played with my Pebbles chalks + some shimmery watercolor, water, and glycerine. Now I have a soft base to start a sympathy card for some total strangers who have lost their babies. (My first four attempts yesterday are in the recycling! It was NOT a good day!)

Thanks so much for the love, Kathy! That kitty card holds a special place in my heart because I colored it to represent our 2 rescue kitties. I sent it off to my daughter who is in her first year of college and it made her cry happy tears.

Thanks again for hosting this coloring challenge. I enjoy it every time and I know it must be a bundle of work for you! Thank you, thank you!

  58. Gail Plaskiewicz says

    February 7, 2016 at 11:24 pm

Congrats to all the winners! I also love seeing all the beautiful coloring. We have some very talented people who were posted here. The picture I sent? I want my sister to put it on a leather bag that she sells. The last one I did she said was to light and it wouldn’t show up. I think this one is darker. If she says she can’t do it for the purse, I want to put it on a shirt. It’s to pretty not to show it off, don’t you think? I have more photos to send in that I colored in. I hope everyone enjoys them!

  60. Lucy Schmidt says

    February 8, 2016 at 12:15 am

I so enjoyed seeing all the wonderful work by your coloring challenge participants. Their work is gorgeous, across the board. As promised, I did pull out some stamped images to work on during the Super Bowl today, but gave up after dropping a big blob of melted cheese from our nachos on a piece I was attempting to color with pencils. If anyone has a way to get melted cheese grease out of paper, let me know!!!!

Was so excited to see my name as a winner! I thought Milton-turned-Mildred was one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a long time. I look forward to another week of great lessons. Hopefully, I’ll find time to do some more stamping of images and will make sure I’m not eating when I color them. I didn’t think it could get worse (it did) than the tea I once spilled, but I saved that one by turning it into “aged” paper.

      February 10, 2016 at 8:31 pm
