Day. 25 Happy Easter+Giveaway

IMG_0795

Hello Friends, I hope you are having a good week and are safe and sound with all of this crazy weather happening around the country.

IMG_1529

Today I am grateful to be featuring Waffle Flower’s exciting new release that is available now! When I saw these stamps …. especially the bunny HAT I was like OMG I need that!!! Seriously how clever right! It was super fun to layer up the background with this scalloped die cut.

IMG_1524

Love tulips and they are a great size. Sometimes I like to show the feathering on the image for a more artistic look like I did on the tulips. The tulips and bunny hat are from the same stamp set called, “Hello Spring”

IMG_1523

Such a fun grass die cut and my rag technique gave me all that texture using this. I decided to save my grass for another card.  Love how Waffle Flower creates stamps to use what you all ready own like these monkeys.

IMG_1521

I thought it was cool that the Easter basket from the “Egg Hunt” stamp set has fabric in the basket …. so… I reached for my Simon small texture backgrounds to create a plaid fabric with some quick coloring.

IMG_1522

I didn’t have the dies for the Easter basket but, I found it easy to cut the middle out by cutting the handle off on the side. Just glue the handle back down when you assemble your pieces. You can check out the full release at Waffle Flower here.

    Hi Kathy,
I am VERY behind on this wonderful event. My trip did not go as well as planned and I ended in a terrible (Apartment) rented thru Airbnb, that I left after the first week. I then moved from Hotel to Hotel, (very busy time in San Diego) and it was also VERY pricey, so it really put a damper on my time there. Had a blast when I was with my son, but he also was working a TON (as always) and we did not have even one full day to just spend time together…(he tried, but he’s so darn loyal and responsible) that he could not seem to get away from his work…! I value his work ethic and now will prefer he comes HOME, where I have FAR more time with him. I miss him so much and want to have as much time with him as I can….

I’m happily home and missing Hubby and Skye (my pup) so much, and am a bit jet lagged, but improving…and tomorrow I’m back to my new treatment # 6, which has been doing okay….I have no CT Scan next week, and HOPE they show good results?

Sorry I has missed out on so much for this wonderful Coloring Challenge…I do hope to be back to coloring and creating, this weekend!

Hugs to you and thanks for this wonderful event…you put so much into it and it shows!

    XOXO,
    Lissa
