Day 23. You Dazzle Me + Giveaway

IMG_0795

Helloooo Friends, Happy Tuesday to you 🙂 I have been looking forward to my collaboration today with Danielle from Neat & Tangled. Today we are playing with the same stamp and we BOTH ARE GIVING one away!! Woo hoo!

IMG_0508

The minute I laid eyes on this stamp called, “Faceted” I fell in looovveeeeee  with it big time. The stamp is BIG and it’s awesome!! Finally I had time to sit and color it up.

I have to add that the owner of Neat & Tangled is Danielle and not only is she a beauty she has a heart of gold.

IMG_0505

I think it would be super fun to participially color it. I used some embossing ink with white embossing powder on some watercolor paper.

IMG_0507

I am trying to use different supplies in my posts other than my Copics because not everyone has them. If you don’t have the markers I am using today try something different. I figured my Zig clean brush markers needed to come out and play. I used this awesome glitter marker to blend my colors.

IMG_0506

Keeping my card simple was key so I decided to use a strip of vellum with some black ink for the sentiment.

IMG_0509

It just so happens that I finished my bonus coloring in bed. I was itching to color another one leaving some open spots. I stamped this one in black ink…then I cleaned the stamp and stamped on top of the black with embossing ink and used white powder to emboss it. I like the effect…sort of a greyish with texture. A happy mistake!

my_collage_by_Fuzel

I used the Fuzel app to create this mosaic with my coloring.

    • Karen Page says

      February 24, 2016 at 9:41 pm

What if you tried embossing the die rather than cutting it? You know, with an embossing mat… the silicone mat? You’d get the embossed imprint and could use the lines to keep your colors separated.

So pretty! I love these gorgeous colours! And I enjoy seeing the Zig marker colouring! I was doing great in your challenge but then fell off the wagon! I coloured for 19/19 days but then my poor health got in the way. I shared my Day 18 but haven’t had a chance to share Day 19 yet and I’ve had several days of no colouring at all. I’ve fallen way behind in everything so I’m hoping I can get back on track soon. Still so proud of myself that I coloured for 19 days! I haven’t given up – as soon as I get myself sorted I’ll be colouring again! Thanks for another awesome giveaway!

Oh my gosh, I am in lust over this card! The colors are beautiful and I love my glitter markers and yours too. It reminds me of the huge kaleidoscope in upstate NY that you can be a part of! It’s in an old abandoned silo and it’s the world’s largest. It costs $5 to go into it and when they start the music and you are laying on the floor or up against the headrests, you feel like you are part of the kaleidoscope that is playing all around you. I’ve been inside twice and it is amazing! They also have a store that sells tons of very expensive kaleidoscopes and few not so expensive ones. You hit the nail on the head with this one. Boy, could I do a lot of things with this one! I hope I win!

    Kathy
I think I would have to say that my most favourite stamps and dies that have come out this past 12 months would be the Multifaceted stamps and dies. I have the different shapes and hearts and numbers and rectangular small stamp and big die and love using them.
The way you have done this one is as usual wonderful and eye-catching.
