Day 20. Mommy Lhey

IMG_0795

Hello Friends, How are you? Any different than yesterday lol. It’s been a busy week and I am glad Saturday is finally here. I am looking forward to my “It’s All About You” feature tomorrow.

IMG_0498

Today I created a bunch of cards for a feature on Mommy Lhey Designs Blog..woo hoo:). Have you heard of Mommy Lhey Designs? She’s pretty awesome and oh so lovely. Her product line is pretty broad with some fun glitter pens that are stylists, sticky notes, washi tape and awesome planner stamps. I am featuring her FUNtastick stamp designs today.

IMG_0501

Lhey is super creative…. like check out these stamps. She also does lots of lettering videos and she sings!! Hows that for a resume!

I fell in love with her unique and whimsical style. This mermaid on my card is a perfect example…and that sentiment..love! Of course I had to add shimmer to her hair.

IMG_0502

This one I watercolored *gasp* I know right lol. I used Simons black ink and my favorite watercolor paper. But, isn’t this image dreamy & so great for a quick adorable card. It’s called, “Party Animal” how fun is that! The frame is from Pretty Pink Posh and I watercolored that too and popped it up with some foam.

IMG_0500

Can you believe more watercolor. The sentiment is a stand alone so I wanted to keep it simple.

IMG_0499

When the watercolors are out and you have adorable stamps make one more right. I don’t use washi often so it was fun to add a few different elements on my card.

PLEASE NOTE AND PLEASE READ: I am behind on my emails and I hope to catch up this weekend. I over scheduled myself this challenge and learned a few things. So please be patient with me I am trying to stay afloat lol.

GIVEWAY! YES PLEASE. A goodie bag including a few Mommy Lhey stamps! Leave a comment and I will announce a random winner at the end of the challenge.

They really made all of your beautiful cards pop! I don’t know why so many people are afraid of watercolors as I find them a really forgiving medium, out of all of the ones that I have attempted. These stamps really are a lot of fun and the fact that she has script stamps is super helpful for me because I am not in love with my handwriting . . . As you tell us, this is about having fun, taking time for us and relaxing while coloring. That applies to you to. We appreciate you doing this, yet we do know that you’re human. No way can you do it all and keep it up for 30+ days (since I’m sure it takes planning before hand and tying up afterward). You get to enjoy to you know!

Your cards are always awesome so why should these be any different? I am going on her blog because I am loving glitter markers! I have 3 and I love how they look on paper. I wasn’t sure if they would be like my glitter crayons which are hard to use and don’t show much glitter but they aren’t! They were easy to use and the glitter really shows!
