Wreath Cards

Hello Friends, Just a quick post before Purple Onions Sale ends tonight!

IMG_0464

These sweet houses from Purple Onion were colored during my last coloring challenge so all I needed to do was add some glossy accents to the windows and layer them up.

IMG_0463

I thought it would be fun to put the images into Winnie and Walters wreath die cut. Unfortunately it’s sold out but, I bet if you checked your stash you would find one that works?

IMG_0466

The background was super simple because I used this woodgrain cardstock and inked it up with 2 different brown distress inks.

The sentiment is from Purple Onion and the banner is called, “Sketchy Banners” and they are from Simon.

Next week I have an awesome giveaway coming so stay tuned. Hope it’s a good weekend!  Hugs, Kathy

Oh Kathy these are adorable! I’ve never noticed the wood grain cardstock before. Just put it on my wish list for my next order. What a great texture. I love the different house Idea. I get bored making multiples of the same card. It doesn’t feel so personal.

Love these cards! What a clever idea to add some distress inking to my woodgrain cardstocks! 😉 I definitely took advantage of the Purple Onion Designs sale and bought a few things…just need to add backing and play! xoxo

I love all those cards! Who wants to pitch in and buy me a die cutting machine? I’ll be your best friend for life! LOL I have paper like your wood paper but it looks like the tiles on our kitchen floor. It came with a whole bunch of paper I bought on-line from a pad and it wasn’t something I would have purchased on my own. I never know what to do with it!

I am SO LUCKY to have bought this wreath when it first released, working my way through some designs for our Christmas cards using the different layers together.
