Hello Friends!! Welcome to Simon Says Stamp “You Have My Heart” Blog Hop :). You will find that this release is filled with happy, loving, positive messages and images. I was so excited to be working with a few new goodies that I created three cards to share today using the stamp set, “Roses For You” in all of my cards! It’s a must have stamp set.
CARD #1. was super fun to color and easy to put together… (In my last card I share the colors I used here too) The “Roses For You” stamp set is so versatile and I have to say I adore it. The stamp is also available as a bundle with coordinating die cuts.
For today’s post you might be able to tell that I was missing my white gel pen. I cut the arrow in half to fit behind the free form heart.
CARD #2. My inspiration was to have a non traditional Valentines Day card or just a blank card to have on hand. The stand alone wafer die called “Scribble Heart” has such an awesome graphic twist and is wonderful for shaker cards.
Coloring the background in a dark color really makes the flowers pop. I decided to use my background for a shaker card and Lucy’s shaker selections are simply the best and a treat to use. You can find them here.
CARD #3. One of my favorite things is coloring and popping a bouquet on cards for that someone special. If you love to color please make note that the next coloring challenge “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” will start February 1st. You can read about it here.
I used some black foam to make my sentiment stand out and give it lots of dimension. The “I Love You” is available individually and the price can’t be beat. Please note that I did stamp on white card stock, colored the letters in and glued it on top of the black foam. It’s pretty dramatic just to use the die with the black foam only.
Stamping a background can take a few minutes but, I find the extra time well worth the effort. Stamping the sentiment upside down is a fun twist on a stamped background. Lavender ink was my color choice for the stamping.
These are the colors I used and wink of stella was added to the flowers.

Your cards are just so beautiful and these that you did are no exception. I love your coloring. I did some coloring today at my mom’s chiropractor appointment. There was only one person their today so my mom’s appointment took longer then usual which left me more time to color. She goes once a week so I get lots of coloring done. I did some of your card but I couldn’t do the water coloring like I wanted. Oh I supposed I could have done it if I brought my paints, my paper cup, my paint brush and some paper towels . Maybe sometime I will. I can get water from the sink in the bathroom. I wouldn’t use their spring water that they pay for. Coloring is so much fun!
Oh yeah, I see the theme is purple. I like purple but my favorite color is yellow. I didn’t get the memo! LOL
Not sure if I like the soft or bright card better, but stunning they are!
