Felt Shaker Tag-Giveaway-Winners

IMG_9920

Hellooooo sweet friends! I am so grateful for you all. Just popping in on this Thanksgiving Eve to for a quick share, announce winners and a giveaway!

My Favorite Things is sharing my tags on their blog today woot woot.  This first tag is an ornament die cut with some felt.

Thanks to Kelly Marie from Lawn Fawn for sharing how to make a shaker anything easier. First you have to start out with a great die like this one from My Favorite Things. Die cut some fun foam and die cut again with some “stick it”. Don’t forget to die cut some acetate to hold in all that shiny goodness.

die cut + fun foam = stick it + acetate = easy shaker

This “Winter Wonderland” stamp set from My Favorite Things is sooo fun to color with any medium. Add some spray ink in “unicorn white” from Hero Arts & you have an instant snowy scene.

Just in case you want to see these before they are transformed with the white ink. I do suggest after spraying you set the white ink with your heat gun. I love the shapes of my tag trio & the die cut set is full of goodies.

Another quick tip to add a little texture to your coloring with some alcohol markers. First color the background with a medium or dark ink color.

Color on top of your first color with a much lighter ink color. The lighter color will fade out the darker color and give you the look of some texture to the background. (Make sure you are coloring with some paper behind your project…not a kraft mat)

OK ARE YOU READY? WE HAVE SOME WINNERS:

Paper Smooches Holly die cut and goodie bag as seen in this post is Sheri K.

SSS die cut and goodie bag as seen in this post is Sandy M

Super congrats to Sandy and Sheri!

The shaker card is pretty. I like the tip about the mottled look by laying down the lighter color on top of the dark color. It looks really nice.

I love the big red ribbon on your tags Kathy. I’ve never thought of using a larger ribbon but it’s very festive! I’ve popped over to MFT to comment on your lovely work there also. <3
