My card today features the new and adorable Flip Flops Dies.

The medium I used was the Zig clean brush watercolor markers & the textured side of this watercolor paper. Wink of Stella was used on parts of the flip flops & Glossy Accents on the stamen.

Below is one of my informal and “unedited” videos sharing my creating process.

If know me you know I love a black line w/ some coloring so I had to create a bonus card using one of the new stamp sets and the “Best Buds” stamp set. I used this ultra thin marker to draw eye lashes on the bird.

Thanks so much for your visit today and a huge thanks to Paper Smooches for having me! Here’s a small peek of other cards coming up on my blog with this delightful release.

If you are following along in the hop the next person is the very talented Kay Miller.

Hugs, Kathy

  36. bev p says

    July 30, 2015 at 10:45 am

This is just beautiful! I don’t think you really ‘get’ how much it helps (some of us, anyway!) to see the parts where you struggle a little, especially since I struggle a lot! You just can’t beat a soft blue/green background, especially if you want some lovely orange flip-flops to stand out! (How would it work out to just do random color on a small piece of paper before you cut all those teeny tiny parts? Seems like it could work, unless you really want to control the color and where it lands on the petals. …just a thought!…from a novice…!)

  37. Connie Duckert says

    July 30, 2015 at 10:45 am
