paper smooches

IMG_6731

Hello Friends, How are you? Ask me how I did a post for 30 days in a row and I wouldn’t be able to tell you. It’s like parts of the childbirth that you forget lol.

Sometimes you open your mail box and there is a little surprise in it like this stamp set called, “Best Buds“. Thank You Paper Smooches! You guys know how I love flowers so I had to ink this baby up right away and I am traveling with it too.

I used some of my post it tape for the mask because that is what was within reach. You might notice I easily altered the sentiment banner to make it fit on my vase. I used this tiny Memento ink to ink up just the parts I wanted and then filled in the lines with this black marker.

Simon Says Stamp stencils always make a background better with some distress ink that’s left over on my distress tool. I used this and it’s out of stock but, there are so many other ones. You have seem my videos with the various ink and the rag? That’s what I did on the vase and some of the flowers.

This super fine tip is awesome for those tiny details and I always have to have a few white dots.

Sorry have to run just wanted to share with you before to much time passed. I miss you all! Hugs, Kathy

Hi Kathy! I love your card! It’s so bright and cheerful! Really missing the coloring challenge. I agree with you. I don’t know how I managed to do it, but I did and now that it’s over, I’ve not colored anything at all! LoL! Oh well. Thanks again for putting a little fire under my feet and getting me to color every day. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to the next one. There will be another one…right? 🙂

Have a wonderful summer and I will buzz by often to see what you’re up to!

    Hugs,
    Barb

Kathy, you have made a gorgeous card with this adorable stamp set. I love how you color your flowers making them pop off the card front.

Kathy – I am so loving all the WHITE DOTS and extra accent lines. What you do before with the coloring and composition is always beautiful, but wow does all the “accessorizing” make the whole thing so ultra-fab! Happy travels!! Melanie
