Hello Friends, How have you been? I hope that you haven’t been experiencing the wacky and not so good weather happening around the globe.
This month Jenn Shurkus is celebrating her 10th anniversary of blogging and she asked me & many others to help her celebrate her “Blogiversary” every Tuesday of this month…such fun!
Jenn’s blog “Creative Chick” has lots of inspiration and lots of ways to celebrate on her blog. In celebration I have two stamps sets of my own from The Ton to give away. More on that below.
This was the tag above that Jenn used and I used her tag as my jumping board. My tags were hand cut by me with this kraft cardstock.
As I mentioned I used two stamp sets from The Ton. They sent me their flower stamps because they know how much I love flowers and I have TWO extra STAMPS to giveaway…WOO HOO

A little masking and some bright watercolor paper makes the Zig clean color markers really stand out. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches “Bold Buzz Words“.
Some white dots with a gel pen, white ink and a white colored pencil are the tiny extras on my tags.

Can never have too many flower stamps, my favs. Haven’t tried any stamps from The Ton yet, but have been seeing many IG posts from people who have, they’re all so nice. BTW, I love your unedited videos, especially when a word slips out you wouldn’t otherwise have said…makes me chuckle…nothing too bad though, lol.

Wow how funny is this….I ordered some of the Zig Markers on May 30 and believe it or not they came in today just in time for this video. Great tags Kathy! And thanks for the tip to enter parade mag’s coloring contest, I submitted 2 of the free pages they offered, colored. I do have a question I asked earlier–concerning water color paints and markers. Many have talked about the “wonders” of kuretake water colors and zig color brush markers. I have a set of distress markers, copics (not all-good representation), I have Grumbacher translucent and opaque pan water colors, I’ve started to collect a few gelatos. I do enjoy coloring and stamping, but of course I don’t do this for a living and budget is always a concern. How do the Kuretake Gansaie tambi paints compare with Grumbacher? Are they better or so much different that you would highly recommend them? Same with the zig markers–I understand the brush makes it different, but color wise are they better or more useful than the Distress markers? Thanks so much for you input–I’m researching art products that I may want to put on my “wish list” for upcoming gift ideas. My daughter moves in about a week, so distracting myself. Also, thanks for the photo’s of ND on your travels, we’re planning a road trip to my “home land” (MN) in a few weeks, of course stopping to visit the newest Iowa residents! Thanks for your help!
I have never used the Grumbacher paints so I can’t comment. I do love the Kuretake Gansaie Tambi paints for their vibrancy and blendability. The Zigs are more vibrant colors than Distressed markers. Zigs are clean color without a distressed look.

Okay, now to comment on those tags that you made. I love the coloring! I also love flowers and all the colors you used. I also love how they remind me of the bookmarks I make and sell. They are so much fun to do, it’s just to bad that people read e-books more then regular books so they aren’t buying a lot of bookmarks. I wish I had started making them sooner! Thanks again for something new for me to do with my stamps! As always, I pass these on to friends. I belong to 2 card making groups on-line and a craft and chat board. They love these!

I know I am probably too late for the giveaway,I was really sick and just now getting on my computer, quite shocked with over 400 emails ( mostly junk ones ) thankfully. Wow now that is some pretty flowers as well as pretty coloring. I bet whoever won that stamp set was happy happy happy. I would have been. How you get so lucky to have someone send you coloring fun like that.? That would be awesome. Flowers are my fav to color too. I don’t have any real ‘flower’ stamps. I have a few whimsical flower stamps but none that resemble real flowers yet like those. Very pretty. Thanks again for sharing.
