Hello Friends, How was your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxing and I was somewhat unplugged but, now I am feeling all discombobulated lol.
For DAY 8 I have some coloring that was done with a roll of tape and markers PLUS a giveaway (more on that later). Once I finished the design I used a die cut from Lawn Fawn to hide my mistakes! If you look close my card is kinda wonky but, that doesn’t matter because I really enjoyed doing this.
In my first 30 Day coloring challenge I shared a similar card and had a video for it… this video. Why re-invent the wheel when you enjoyed doing something so I thought it would be fun to make again.
After I die cut the “Scripty Thanks” from Lawn Fawn on my doodled card I die cut 5 more out of white card stock and glued them all together and stuck it on a small card. I will finish the small card tomorrow and then share it with you. In case you are wondering the “from the gang” sentiment is from Mama Elephant.
Since I wasn’t home this weekend I felt the easiest way to share my process was with this flipagram. I hope it helps you. I also wanted to show you something you can do with any markers. You name it…Sharpies, Bic and so on. The Memento markers I used have a dual tip and brush tip. I love a brush tip because you can color much faster.
NOTE: the reason why my circles have a break in them because my paper had a dent on the inside of the roll. So it took me a little longer to fix the circles. But, it’s part of the process and I do enjoy it.

I have some very sad news today. I am not going to be able to participate in this challenge any longer because my ipod, which is my only camera, has died. I am heartbroken because I love participating but without a camera that is impossible! I will still stop by daily to see what you are creating but don’t have sharing abilities any more. I am so very sad, heartbroken is actually a better word for how I feel right not.
I will still color every day but not be able to share them.

Keep coloring. The idea of the challenge is for you to do something for yourself. Color like no one is watching. Coloring will mend a broken heart.
Thank you for your comment! On top of that tragic news I have gotten sick. Running a 101-103 degree fever, vomiting, body aches and getting out of bed is next to impossible. Hubby has been getting upset with me because when I DO muster the energy to get up I go into my craft room and color for a few minutes each time. Lots of pretty things waiting to see the light of day. I have been offline for a few days and not sure when I will get back on but this is always my first stop! LOVE your creations!

I tried this technique on your 1st 30 day challenge and used the colors in my wild socks for inspiration. After I drew my circles while watching TV one evening, I looked down at my feet and there were colors to use. Love how you can use bright colors and still have a card that is suitable for a man. Needless to say you have inspired me to do another card like this. Your 30 day challenge is the best! I enjoy it every day and I apologize for not commenting more.

I love this card. I’m not that great with doodles because sometimes I love them and sometimes I hate them. I like when somebody else does the drawing, usually, like you! This was so nice and I love how colorful it is, like me! By the way, I can’t see any of your ‘oops’ on this one.
AOL used to have it that you could bookmark your sites by categories like Stamping or Arts and Crafts and Beads & I would have saved it under Stamping. Hi Kathy!! Yes, I am a YT sub’r. Thanks so much! Loving the 30 day challenge. Day 8 is so cool! Maybe I will try it before the 30 days is up. I need to go color something quick tonight. My honey bug had pink eye today, we visited the Dr., then sat around today and had a lot of laughs. Millie will be 3 this month and Grandfather loves the Ace commercial where they grunt when they approve of manly things. So, we did that for something like 20-30 minutes in the car while waiting for our scripts to be filled and filmed a short for Grandfather of it, and he did the same in return. We sure burned a lot of calories laughing today and she needed lot of laughter. We even sang an excerpt from Hammer Time (Da Na Na Na….Na Na…Can’t touch this!) which is in the Movie, Shark Tale. We have so much fun together, but no crafting today. Okay, gotta run color, it’s 9:14pm and I’m wiped out after doing laundry all day.

Kathy I must admit I think I preferred seeing your card in flip form than a video. However, there were moments that I wasn’t able to catch what you had added or done picture but this was a really cool effect. Thanks for the inspiration and yes I’m a YouTube subscriber 🙂

The first photo of your card looks amazing. I thought it was layers cut out and layered multiple times. The flipogram really shows how much work and planning you put into the finished card. Beautiful!
