BLOG HOP featuring PPP new dies

birthday_graphic

Hello Friends!! Happy New Year to you!!! Sorry I have been gone from blogging for a few weeks. I took an unscheduled “staycation” and just unplugged. Excited to be back and to celebrate Petty Pink Posh FIRST BIRTHDAY!! I first discovered PPP on Instagam and I really have enjoyed watching the company grow from sequins to die cuts. The owner, Paulina is such a sweet, sweet, beautiful person and I am so happy for her success!!  If you want to start at the beginning of the hop click here.

The die cut on this card is called, “Stitched Duo Three Die” and I created TWO cards with this versatile die cut for the hop. This first card is created with the negative space of the die cut. ( I cut 2 extra sets of squares) Once all my squares were lined up the way I wanted them I taped them together on the back and I stamped the flower (from Power Poppy). I used copic markers to color the flower then popped up the squares with this foam. The final touch was layering up my card with some of Pretty Pink Posh’s beautiful sequins. (See supply list for the specific ones please)

IMG_2134

The “Stitched Duo Die” screams window to me … so I used some vellum for a frosty window effect and put this sweet cat sitting inside on the window sill. Wall paper was created with this “Tiny Dot Stencil” from Simon and some distress ink. The “Thanks on a Line” die cut fit perfectly on my window tag. The twine was colored to match  my color scheme with a marker and I dotted the center of the bow with a sequin. Here’s a RAW uncut video that I made using the beautiful Pretty Pink Posh sequins from a previous post. 🙂

Pretty Pink Post will be giving away all sorts of goodies during the festivities, along with prizes for those who comment during the blog hop. Read below for more info.
