masculine & feminine birthday cards – giveaway & a winner

IMG_9343

Hello Friends!! How are you? Today I have two sneak peeks for you and the full cards you will find on the Simon Says Stamp blog today *squeal* . This first card not only has a deluxe layer cake created with this but, a background that I created oozing with texture using the scalloped circle and then embossing it. I die cut and embossed many but, it was worth the extra effort.

IMG_9334 2

I altered the happy birthday die cut ….. a great way to stretch your dies and shorten them to fit on your card. I cut the “irth” off and recreated it to say “B. day”

IMG_9354

The second card has a stamped background. The cake was a leftover from the first card and I added lots of happy candles for a extra happy birthday wish. This card is perfect for those gentlemen in your life 🙂 Simon Says Stamp has more details and the supply list on their blog.

Leave a comment on the Simon Says Stamp blog and come back here to let me know you did. I will pick a random winner next week to win one of my favorite Simon dies…large hello.  (Here is a card I made with the hello die cut.)

The winner of Simons July card kit as seen in this post is Dee Tollaksen!! It just so happens that July 1 is her Birthday. Congrats Dee and Happy Birthday.

Thanks for your visit today! Hugs, Kathy
