card kit

IMG_9097

Hello Friends, How are you today? I am back with another card created with July’s Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. The patterned papers in the July Card kit are so delightful and, I love what the polka dot vellum did for the front of my card.  It’s aways a happy surprise when the kits contains enamel dots with coordinating colors. The card front was just a free hand cut that must have been inspired by Jennifer McGuire through osmosis. When I was editing my card I noticed that it resembles some Jennifers previous cards so just had to mention it.

The stamp set was super fun to stamp with too. I colored the leaves with a marker and outlined them with a Copic marker B00. The black dots on the stamp was a great guideline to add white dots on top of the black. I cut and popped the small flower. In case you missed the other two cards created with this kit click here. Have a great day the weekend is almost here. Hugs, Kathy

P.S. thanks for your visit today 🙂

Hi Kathy, Love the card, especially the polka dot vellum, so cool. I Love Polka Dot’s in anything, scrapbooking, clothes, everything I’m obsessed, lol. Also been hooked on those enamel dot’s lately, been ordering them like crazy from all the new collections that came out. I can’t wait to use them all over. Such a beautiful card, thanks for sharing it.
