Stamping on patterned paper is another way to switch up some simple paper as you see below.

IMG_8656

Simons “Smoke” ink is luscious and perfect for stamping a subtle background by adding a sentiment between the stripes.

IMG_8647

Stamping on my first card was fun using the stamp set in the card kit called, “Favorite Flowers”. When creating a background I usually work in threes and in a triangle pattern to get started.

IMG_8648

Add some more stamping with the “Doll” ink.

IMG_8650

Fill in the spaces with more Burnt Orange and Mint.

IMG_8651

I added some flowers inside the circles and die cut a circle in the bottom of my card giving me a clean space for my sentiment.

The winner of  Simon Says Stamp May’s Card Kit giveaway as seen in this post is Marissa M! Congrats Marissa!!

Stay tuned for more giveaways. Have a wonderful holiday weekend & thank YOU for your visit today. Hugs, Kathy
