super quick card

Hello Friends, How are you today? I’m running in a million different directions as I imagine you are too? I thought I would pop in with a quick card. Why so quick? I colored my images months ago as you can see in this post here. I love everything about this stamp set called “Sweet as Honey” from Penny Black. Here is a post with just the bees.

to bee honest…ha ha. This is the fastest I have EVER layered a card. I die cut labels 14 with two of the these papers from Doodlebug at the same time. (I have one to spare since I cut two papers at the same time.)

Slice both layers at the same time in your trimmer off center & glue down. It’s a simple as that 🙂

These sequins from Kelly Purkey matched perfectly with the paper. After gluing the sequins with a glue pen I just had to add a white dot with Enamel Accents.  The flower was colored with Copic markers. Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great weekend and a huge thanks for your visit. Hugs, Kathy

Gorgeous card Kathy, love the bright colours. I’m almost at the end of a 2-week break, but I feel I could use another 2 weeks of doing absolutely nothing (except sleeping and relaxing) to recharge my batteries.

Gorgeous! I love how you add a touch of orange to your pinks, as well as brown to the leaves. It makes the them more realistic!
You have such a terrific eye for colours, shading and authentic life-like images.

Did you fussy-cut the flower, or did it have an accompanying diecut? If you cut it, my lord, that was a lot of work!
