washing up in the waves

Hello Friends, Anything new? Any fun vacation plans coming up? Would love to hear.
This fun little skunk woke up on the wrong side of the boat. I had so much fun working with the different elements in Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit. One of the fun boarders in the kit was used to create water.

All of the fun banners were in the kit too. These are the sort of things that I don’t normally purchase but, find myself really enjoying these different elements when they are included in the kits. The umbrella turned boat is from this stamp set. I was feeling patriotic when I colored it red, white and blue. I also added some extra pleats in the umbrella. For some extra detail I added a stripe down the skunks face. Enamel Accents for the eyes and Glossy Accents for the nose and “boat”. In case you missed a few other cards created from this July kit you can click here and here to see them. Here is a card with the “Stinkin Cute” skunk stamp set.
Thanks for your visit and I hope you are seeing some decent temps and sunny skies in your part of the world. Hugs, Kathy

The designs you come up with using these kits is just delightful & you had me chuckling away this morning. Husband recovering from surgery so just waiting for him to be fit enough to sell the house & move back to Exeter in Devon……. meantime trying to keep woodland & uphill sloping gardens from going wild with all the rain!

I got my kit and am loving it. I am making my 4th of July cards for my parents and friends. I used some papers from it already for my Prima Mixed media Doll tag. Lots of fun goodies. Your card is just adorable. I was wondering how to use those word stickers, thanks for the inspriation as always.
