online card class

Hello Friends, How are you today? Is your summer speeding by right before your eyes like it is for me?
One thing that helped me put the breaks on and say “Time Out” is Online Card Classes. I am signed up for the summer session called “Summer Camp 2”. Three weeks of inspiration for me is a dream come true. The card I created today is from DAY ONE! Camp counselor Jennifer came up with this great design and I just had to case it immediately!

How cool is this to have the sentiment hiding under the banner on the front of the card. This idea is a keeper for me.

First up are these fun bees from Penny Black. (I gave you a sneak peek of the bees in this post)  I stamped the background with this “Happy” stamp set from Simon in Hero Arts Soft Sky ink.

I love these “Full Card Hexagons” from Simon Says. In this photo not only can you see the eyes on the bees better but, how I folded the banner. I taped it on the back of my card before I added the black base.

This die cut is so fun and great for some many sentiments. I die cut an extra “e” and glued it on with this glue pen. A must have for these kinda die cuts.

Today I added enamel accents to the eyes and glossy accents to the wings before I popped them on my card. Thanks for taking the time to visit I so appreciate it. Have a great week. Hugs, Kathy

    Hi Kathy,

I love the enameling aspect of the card. Once you add that, no one would believe that the image started out as paper. The Bee image is also very summery and light. Rachel
