giveaway and coloring without shading

Hello Friends, I’m sure your days are filled with such sadness and tears for the devastation happening in Oklahoma. Have you heard of the quick and easy way to donate to the Red Cross? All  you have to do is “Text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief, which helps people affected by disasters …..” It’s amazing how just $10.00 can add up and make a difference.
How about a little incentive?? If you donated $10.00 or more to the Red Cross or another charity just leave me a comment confirming that you donated. A $50.00 gift voucher is up for grabs to the Simon Says Stamp store. I will pick a random winner next week.
How about  a little sunshine? I think I have been waiting for this “Sunshine” die cut for a long time. It’s hot off the press from Simon Says Stamp. Have you wondered why some dies are more money? The more metal the more money. 🙂
I barely did any shading on this stamp. I added lots of details instead… like lace, white trim, stripes, thicker glasses etc. etc. The “Mad Rider” was purchased at Simon but, it’s out of stock right now 🙁
And I leave you with a photo from prom. Thanks for your visit and for considering donating. Hugs, Kathy

I did! I donated through the Red Cross site last night. Thanks you for the opportunity to put a dent in my wish list. 🙂

Also, it’s nice to see you color without shading. It’s about all I do. I also have that die on it’s way to me. I can’t wait to get my paws on it!

    Thanks, again!

I donated through the Salvation Army’s website and through a text message with the Red Cross. As I use to live in Oklahoma, this tornado stuff kind of hits home for me. (Even though I hated it there. Shhh…don’t tell.)

Love that Ray die and how you did your coloring on the images! The kitty in the basket looks so much like Grumpy Cat. 😉

Your family photo is beautiful. Your daughter looks so much like you. xoxo

Kathy, you are so sweet! I posted the same exact thing on my blog earlier today and yes, I donated too. It is so easy to do!

Your card is a riot! What a fun image that is! And I love that photo of the three of you! Your daughter is so pretty – just like her mom! 🙂

I did donate through Red Cross this morning after I saw the story on the devastation they are encountering in Oklahoma. I just can’t imagine what the people are going through.

Thank you, Kathy, for reminding us how to help out and how easy it is to donate — I just did. Our hearts go out to those affected by the devastation.

    P.S. Your daughter is beautiful!

OH, Kathy, it is difficult to tell which beautiful woman is going to the prom!! Gorgeous photo. Since I have no idea how to text, I am donating through our church’s efforts for the Red Cross.

Beautiful photo of your family! Hope she had fun! I donated today to AmeriCares Foundation Inc‏. Donations were being tripled today by them and were going directly to Oklahoma. So good of you and Simon to do this! Hope it helps! P.S. Love your card, too!

What a terrible tragedy occurred in Oklahoma. I saw the news on TV and I could not remain indifferent. And I donated through the Red Cross site last night. Kathy, you are so sweet and you have a big heart!

It is truly horrible, what´s happening there right now, and all these poor people, that´s been hit by this terrible disaster now again.
We´ve heard a lot about it overhere too, and our local Red Cross is also collecting here to help the victims overthere they said, and pleaded people to find in their hearts to donate, which we always do and also this time ofcause. If just people everywhere could be better to help each other out, this world sure would be a better place to live in. I really hope these poor people will soon get some life back after this tragedy.
Your daughter is certainly a gorgeous young lady, she really looks a lot like her mum, that´s for sure. Hope she had a wonderful prom.

I have made a donation to The Red Cross. I applaud your encouraging everyone to donate. It seems the very least we can do for those whose lives have been forever changed.

@BrookeFox (Movin’ 92.5) tweeted this yesterday: “My mother asked me to share this. I come from a long line of Okies. (Real life Sooners here!) Mom is OKC born and raised. After asking her childhood friend Kent Carnahan, who works at this Moore HS, he recommended a site that 100% of your donation will go to help these kids and families after losing everything they had. This is where I will be donating. http://www.gosabercats.com/ “. I just wrote a check yesterday. Thank you for encouraging donations, SSS!

Posting the donation information on your blog is a great idea! I shared it on Facebook right after I donated (after Jennifer McGuire tweeted it!). I so love the card that you made! I’m getting ready to work on coloring with some Paper Smooches stamps that I haven’t had a chance to use. I love that ray die! It’s perfect with the image that you chose!
