Hello Friends, How have you been? It seems like it has been ages since my last post. As spring gets closer the “to do”list gets longer. I hope things are going well for you 🙂

This sweet image from Penny Black (designed by Mo Manning) is technically a Valentine stamp but, I think it’s appropriate for any occasion. Hearts are a good way to show love so they are always in vogue for me.

The cheery patterned paper, sweet sentiment sticker, and the fun scalloped boarder is from BasicGrey. I added some Enamel Accents to the yellow trim and I always recommend that you practice on some scrap paper first. If you look close at the photo… take note… I am going to compare it to cheese. When you take a bite of pizza the cheese can be like string….sorta? Anyway this happens to the Enamel Accents. So carefully and slowly you pull the tip straight up and give the stringy part time to pull apart and pool at the botton. Repeat on each scallop.

Thank you for your visit I am always grateful that you take the time to stop in. I hope you have a great week. Hugs, Kathy

I haven’t ventured into enamel accents yet but will remember your tip. Nice touch to add them to the flower centers in her hair.

Do you mask the image, then distress ink the background? It looks so natural.

She is precious! I can see her being used for a lot of occasions like Mother’s Day, anniversary, birthdays. Thanks for the pointers on the enamel accents, as I have both the black and white and had those strings and I was not as neat as you are!

Very helpful advice. I particularly like your use of the enamel accents for accenting the flowers in her hair too. The accented scalloped border works beautifully with your whitework too.
