extreme mimi from penny black

Hello my friends, So sorry for my delay in posting. How are you all? As you can imagine moving keeps me from doing the creative things in my life. Lots of work left but, very exciting to say the least. I snuck some time away from unpacking to layer up this sweet Mimi called, “Extreme Mimi” . If only you could see Mimi in action. Her head wobbles because I cut down one of these to glue on the back of her head. The movement  of the wobble brings Mimi to life.
Did you know that Penny Black has  a 6×6 paper pad called “Madison” See the yellow paper peeking out..isn’t it beautiful? The sky is created with one of Simon Say’s Stamps newest dies here. I love how the stars are graduated with more stars at the top and less stars at the bottom. Perfect for so many backgrounds!! It’s hard to tell but, I used Glossy Accents on her boots and goggles. One last thing…I used this to add a subtle amount of shimmer and texture to the sky. I added a pattern to her headband with a black marker and a white gel pen.
I would love to hear what you have cooking if you celebrate Thanksgiving. Next week I will announce the winner of the elf stamp set as seen in my last post here. Must head back to the unpacking. Have a great weekend!  Hugs, Kathy
P.S. I’ll be back Monday with a fun post 🙂

Take care with the unpacking but glad you’re finally doing it. I love the way you’ve made her headband – just ready stylish & so individual & a super idea making her head wobble. The way you gradutaed the sky making it darker with the denser scattering of stars is superb & utterly effective.

Hi Kathy! Extreme Mimi is colored perfectly and I love the pattern you added to her head band. Looks like she’s decked out in the latest snow gear. =D I know you are so glad to be moved. Would you believe I haven’t even had time to get ink on my Stamptember goodies! But I have used the Romantic Rectangles die on a wedding card. Thanks Giving has been voted to my house this year. LOL I’l be in charge of stuffing, potatoes, sweet potato stuff, pumpkin and apple pie. Mom is bringing the turkeys, chocolate cheese cake, grape salad and cranberry sauce. The girls are bringing rolls and veggies. I hope you have a lovely holiday. ;)))
