another giveaway and creating a background for simon says stamp

Hello Friends, I’m hoping that Hurricane Sandy is behind you without any damage. So much devastation and heart break 🙁   On a lighter note I am hopeful that your  kiddos (if you have them) will be able to trick and or treat this Halloween. 

Today’s card was created for Simon Says Stamp’s blog . When I tell you I had a blast creating this card that’s an understatement. The background was so much fun and the image is a scream…. you can see it all at the Simon Says Stamp’s blog. Before you head over….what’s Halloween without candy??
How about some blog candy? It’s low calorie and you don’t have to floss after eating it. 
What do you need to do you might ask??

    Really cool Halloween card on the Simon Says Stamp blog! Always appreciate your scene creating techniques Master Kathy! 🙂 I will miss handing out candy this year, I don’t think they do this in apartments…but I always loved to see the kids expressions as they saw what candy you were giving them (and I always threw in little games and rings and things) Anyway, thanks for the chance to win. This looks like a great set for Operation Write Home cards. And hope you are settling into your new home nicely.

    What great backgrounds. I love the color choices on the brick background. I would not have thought if those but now I’ll give it a try! The witch is amazing as well! The trim is a great touch.

    I’d love to see you colour that witch in another way, as of she is wearing a ballgown for instance (could even keep the broomstick as Cinderella!)
