wedding response card – coloring with sharpie markers

Wedding Response Card
Hello Friends, How was your weekend?? Is spring in the air or do you have a spring in your step?? I know this happy couple that is getting married has an extra kick in their step. We just received the beautiful invitation…classic, simple and elegant. I thought the response card needed some jazzing up.

I thought this new Penny Black transparent set called, ” Flowers Sweet” would be an elegant touch to the response card. I wanted to show you that coloring with regular markers can look nice too. I used SHARPIE markers for this. I outlined the scrolls and flowers with FYG1 Copic marker.

I was having such a relaxing time coloring & the envelope was calling my name so I just had to decorate the envelope as well.

I used the postage stamp (on the left) as my color palette. I only had a handful of Sharpie’s on my desk so I stuck with was within reach. Yes, my desk is soooooo messy right now.
Here is a previous response card I stamped and here is one more.
IMG_6096Now…how about a little fun?? Are you a prankster?? I am and I love to do little innocent things like this. See the number in the bottom right corner?? ERASE IT….and make sure you can’t see it after you erase it…lol. The number is there in case you forget to write your name when you write your response. I have forgotten my name and that’s how I learned this trick. If you don’t decorate it well…then..it will be harder to guess who it might be. When I decorate the response cards they couple can usually narrow down that it might be from me. I hope next time you get a response card you will do a little jig and some stamping. Have a great week and THANKS so much for your visit. Hugs, Kathy

I can see you had great fun with this – not just colouring but with your little bit of fun. I think your response card will be fairly identifiable amongst the rest of them……unless of course there are some of your crafty friends attending too………
Hope you have a brilliant week.
