One catalog card and a tag :)

Horray
Hello Friends, How was your weekend? Were you experiencing exceptionally warm weather like we were? I am working on some cards with the new Penny Black stamps and am so anxious to finish. I just finished a few cards with the April Card Kit here that I will share in my next post. So far all of Simon Says kits have sold out so keep that in mind if ordering is on your “to do” list 🙂

Now…how about the card details? This card & tag were created for the PB 2012 catalog. Honestly I LOVE this woodgrain stamp called “Inspiring”.  I use these cloud punches all the time…easy as 1…2…3! Punched them & stamped them with the wood grain in worn lipstick distress ink. (they come in two sizes) I created a “polaroid” snapshot with a spellbinder square. The sentiment is from this transparent set. The focus stamp is called “tour de fun” and she just makes me happy and makes me think spring… perfect for the wacky weather we are experiencing.

Special Day
This stamp is the most fun and so quick to color. I inked up this stamp for the background on my tag.
I would love to hear what you are working on. Keep checking in if you don’t subscribe to my blog giveaways coming soon. I hope your week will be off to a great start. Hugs, Kathy

Now that woodgrain stamp has really been put through its steps being used for sky & clouds & doesn’t it pick up on the stripiness of her shirt beautifully too. The polaroid effect is great fun too & I love that tag with the background detail & pretty ribons.
