NEW Contest …with two winners

Hello Friends 🙂 … How was your weekend? Did you squeeze any stamping in?? I carved out some time to make these goodie bags for my stamp class. After I “teach” I always leave my class feeling so fulfilled and happy. I’m lucky to have such a wonderful group of women that truly make me feel very special. Thank you ladies 🙂

With that said it shouldn’t be any surprise that I wanted to make “my students” a little something special for them to celebrate Valentines Day. The bad part is I purchased the candy in the beginning of the week so I had five days of staring at the chocolate & tasting the chocolate before I sealed the bags. Lesson learned… seal the bags immediately!

This lovely background stamp is one of Penny Black’s newest 2012 stamps called “All Over Pattern”. It’s not available yet but,  I’ll let you know when it will be available. I stamped onto this spellbinder die with this bright & beautiful ink. Glued down some scrap paper that I had cut from class cards.

Score the die right down the middle. I added some fabric ribbon on top of the green and wrapped the edges. The ribbon is similar to this. The cellophane bags are from Simon  Says Stamp too. To attach my homemade packaging I stapled it onto the bag right under the heart.

I finished off with my favorite Spellbinder hearts with this stamp called “Love Assortment” . Stickles were added to the leaves. Speaking of Penny Black if you leave a comment here by Tuesday you have the opportunity to win some of the NEW 2010 stamps!

    i love all your cards they are just beautiful….and if i had to guess the cards on the catalouge pages then it will be 5,11,17,21,33,35…i see i think the same as Annette i hope we r both rite:)

    Ok, love the treat bags–I’d totally keep the rose for a sb page! My guess on the pages is 4, 8, 18, 19, 27, 29. And maybe some I missed too?! This catalog rocks btw.

    ok Kathy I gave up. All cards in the catalog are so gorgeous, as if you made them all! (ok, i can tell which ones Elizabeth made! 😉 ) I browsed the whole catty. PB & TH are in the conspiracy of bankcrupting me! lol lol lol !! How nice of you to make those candies for your students. I wish i lived closer…Those tags are beautifully colored!!:-)

    Wowsers…Kathy, these Valentines are luscious! Love the roses and thanks for sharing how you put them together.

    I had the hardest time picking the 7th page….I guessed 6,7,8,9,12 and 19 right away and then spent 45mins staring at all the gorgeous creations in the catalogue until I went cross-eyed and believed that every single one of them were yours….actually thats not true – coz I know some of them are Jills too.

    So I finally decided on 6,7,8,9,12,19 and 15 (or 14 or 13 or lol). Thanks for the chance to win. xx

    Being in one of your classes must be super but getting a nice Valentine’s treat is even more one can expect!!!
    I went through the catalogue and my guess is:
    2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 19, 23 and 24!

    My guesses for the catalog are 4, 6, 9, 12 & 19. There were a few more I was undecided on, but that is my final answer 🙂 Such lovely cards, looking forward to the new stamps.

    Your treat bags are adorable and I know what you mean about staring at the chocolate all week. I just ate mine as soon as I got it and will replace it today. LOL!

    My guesses are a little different than I’m seeing but I’ve chosen carefully, so here are the page numbers: 2, 4, 8, 12, 13, 14, 16

    Your goodie bags are beautiful! I had to laugh about you having five days of staring at and tasting the chocolate. I’ve learned to just buy extra when it is going to take awhile to get the bags made, otherwise there won’t be any left to put in the bags!

    Well – I had a go Kathy. I must say it was great fun sitting & looking but I am going to say:
    6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 19 + 24.
    How you are managing to teach midst the packing is amazing. – let alone make all those little goody bags. I should think you needed some energy from the chocolate. You take care of yourself.

    I can see I’m not the only one that guessed using the page numbering system associated with my viewer instead of the page numbers in the catalogue. They are very hard to see on my screen. Let us know if we can re-submit our corrected numbers.

    My guesses are 7,8,9,12,16,17,19…I may have been off on some of them, but what a great way to get a look at the new catalog. Love so many of the new stamps! Love the Damask Pattern! I think I am a little late for the contest but that is okay, I enjoyed seeing your cards! 🙂
