Winter is around the corner

Hello Friends, How was your weekend?? I saw my first bright orange & red leaf a few days ago but, I’m waiting for that crisp feel in the air. My hope is that fall lingers and the only snow I see this year is on cards 🙂

Enjoy
The theme this week at the Penny Black blog is snowmen…. so if it’s still hot in your neck of the woods maybe this week on the PB blog you will cool off. Yesterday Jill created one of her wonderful PB& J videos and today you will find my card on the blog. I colored these sweet images with a combination of Copic markers & Le Plume markers on X-Press paper from Copic. The highlights on the snowman were added with some Tombow markers.

I love creating frames and it’s super easy with Spellbinders. For this frame I used Wonky Rectangles.

Enjoy

The ‘Sew Easy” piercing mat makes piercing must easier and I love the color and the squares to help guide me. You can’t really see the dimension on the snowman’s eyes and buttons. They really resemble “coal” when you use Enamel Accents. If you are wondering about the paper it’s in the supply list below. This is starting to sound like an ad or something. Does it sound that way to you?? Let me know if I am giving to much info and or if you have any questions. Have a great week. Hugs, Kathy
P.S. Stay tuned for more cards and a project I created for PaperCrafts Inspirations.

On the contrary – I find your info so helpful & the way you explain about the products is brilliant. Your layered frames on this project is terrific & I just love that butterfly. The papers are super – really making me think of my Nordic childhood where these patters were common during the winter – on knitted clothing or cross stitch samplers/tablecloths.

Wonderful card! I love the dimension you created with your scene and the frame. That stamped image is so cute! You used the perfect ‘ski-lodge-sweater-looking’ printed paper, and I love the little bows at the sides. I hope you have a great rest of the week!
