Lily Pad Palette Challenge

Hello Friends, Before we get started I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really appreciate you taking the time to click over to the Penny Black Blog yesterday and leaving sweet comments!! Another thanks to some of you for checking out Kristina’s last auction.  🙂

Love

Today at the Lily Pad blog these is a new Palette challenge with some new colors. Please keep in mind these colors are a starting point to get you going and you are more than welcome to add colors and suggest colors. This month “A Day for Daisies” is Lily Pad’s sponsor. I have to say you will swoon when you look at these fanciful images.

I used four distress inks to create the background and did some stamping and distressing on top of the inking. I ended up cutting out the entire image, popped up the leaves & fairy wings with Scrap Dots.

Don’t you love this sentiment?? You may have guessed that it’s from SRM stickers and it’s one of their newest releases. First I distressed a circle then applied this sticker sentiment.

Love

The white gel pen worked great to highlight the sentiment on the smooth surface. I also added some dots to the leaves and wings. The image was colored with Copic markers.

I would love to hear if there is any request for videos? I am getting closer and getting excited to share with you. 🙂

Did you know that this is a BIG month at Simon Say’s Stamp’s blog? It’s called “Stamptember & they have lots of exciting things going on. Does prizes interest you…I hear there are a lOT of them?? Check it out here. Have a fantastic weekend and thanks again for your support it’s greatly appreciated!! Hugs, Kathy

Love the shape of this & the way you’ve rounded just one corner but have allowed the sentiment & leaves to hang over the edges of the background. The background inking is terrific.
