ATC and bronze ink

Hello Friends, Just a quick post today. This was created for the Penny Black ATC exchange and I was anxious to share it with you.

I am dying to get out this bronze metallic ink pad again. I need to break away from my lighter blue backgrounds and bring you something different. I also have been anxious to use this stamp again called “Nature’s Day”. Here is another card I inked up with this stamp. Just love the flowers and the bird!!

When coloring these images I like to put some color down with a Copic marker as my base. Then I like to use my Tombo watercolor markers to add highlights. I do have to be careful not to over color or my paper will pill.

I wrapped the image around the ATC and glued it to the back then I added Glossy Accents to the centers of the flowers. The sentiment is from SRM stickers.
Have a happy week. Hugs, Kathy

That layering of the flower petals is terrifically effective & I love the combination of the bronze colour with that deep navy almost purple blue for the background. The soft colouring of the bird makes him very life-like & I love the glow you gave his breast & cheeks.
