Curling Flowers

If I had.....
Hello Friends, How are you today?? Have you been finding time to craft lately? My crafting as of the last month has been a lot of Christmas so I was in the mood for some flowers & to create something a little different for me. I don’t normally use a whimsical color combo but, was happy with the outcome.

If I had.....

I love this quote stamp from Penny Black. I combined it with a PB flower stamp, paper and background stamp. I colored the flowers with Copic markers and went nuts with some white dots.
For the centers I used Ultra Fine Flower Soft with Glossy Accents.(supplies listed below)
Here is another flower with Flower Soft. Every craft room needs one jar I think but, I only like the ULTRA FINE.

If I had.....

You really can get a different look with your flowers if you curl the leaves up or down as you see here. Makes them easy to cluster and or layer. Scrap Dots is a must for an application like this. Thank you for stopping your visit is always appreciated. Hugs, Kathy

Love the dimensional aspects of this – especially the way you’ve made an aperture for the sentiment & then the flowers layer around that aperture. Beautifully effective with your white dots on the flowers too.

Love the colors. And I liked that you didn’t totally blend the flower coloring – you let the “flicks” show. Perfect!

Now this is a jaw dropper! My goodness where do you come up with these ideas. Lol. I think that this is a very good example why I fell in love with your work. There is such a whimiscal feel to almost everything you do, but then there is this intensitity of colour that just captures the eye and makes you just stare. Then the boldness of the black outlines provides so much definition and contrast that it makes each colour dance and flow to perfection. This card reminds me of the card that was in your post ” It’s Blooming Flowers…” and the same flow and drama is present and really made that card a favorite of mine. But there are so many, especially the leaping frog and Bumble Bees. I am trying to create something similar but am afraid it doesn’t meet the mark in comparison. One can only dream! Lol. Love all your doing sweetie. Keep it up!
