Lily Pad Palette Challenge

Hello Friends, I can’t believe it’s Friday and already the summer is racing by. Somehow the older you get the faster time flies. I wish I had more time to visit your blogs and see all of the cards in Flickr. I thought I would during vacation but, that didn’t happen.

Peace Baby
Every month I have the privileged of selecting colors for  the Lily Pad Palette color challenge.
I hope you like the colors this month and I am always open for suggestions if you would like to share you favorite combos with me. I think you will love what the talented Lily Pad design team created with this color challenge here.

I love to sew and find it so relaxing and I try to incorporate sewing into my cards with a gel pen, or a sewing machine or the “Sew Easy”. Since I now own this mat and this tool I have been enjoying the look & ease of sewing by hand more often.

Don’t you love this digi image? It’s from Tickled Pink and this is the image I selected. After printing the image in “word” I colored it with Copic markers.  The sentiment was inked with Worn Lipstick and stamped. Sorry for the short post I must get back to stamping for CHA. Did you see the new Penny Black I am giving away?? Here it is or you could scroll down. As always I am so grateful you stopped by. Hugs, Kathy

P.S. Did any of you spot my card in “The Summer Card Camp 2011” yesterday??I would love to hear AND IF I oew you an email please be patient with me. Your understanding is so appreciated more than you know.

Great card. I love the colour combo – the pinks are so pretty! I really like the Sew Easy tool and they have a couple newer piercer heads that I can’t wait to try (Hearts and Vines).
I saw your card at Summer Card Camp and it is beautiful. The grass looked amazing! Thanks for sharing your technique on how to create that wonderful effect.
