A Touch Of Whimsy

Hello Friends, I am so excited to show you this new flower from Penny Black’s “A Touch of Whimsy” catalog. Love this new paper from Basic Grey too….it’s the perfect background for these bright flowers.

You make me smile
The name of this flower stamp is so fun…it’s called “Pinstriped”. I colored this image quickly with just a little bit of shading with my Copic markers. The black stitching on the Spellbinder frame is done with a super fine pen that I use often. You might have noticed that I have been using these enamel accents a lot lately. Below you can really see the dimension that you get with this product.

These are the new flowers from the catalog that I am in love with. I have so many images colored that I can’t wait to layer them on a card and share with you. Just click on any image to see it larger.

Have you had a chance to stop by the Penny Black Blog this week. They have two new amazing ladies they have introduced to the team and I adore both of them. Here is the first one and here is the second one. I am sure they would love for you to give them a warm welcome.

Do you wonder how my photos turn out so white & bright. You might want to wander over to Lily Pad and read this post…..they have the answer for you &  Deborah teaches you how to make one of your own.

Have you entered the Penny Black Challenge yet?? You might want to check out what this week’s challenge is here.

I hope you are having a good week & that your weather is cooperating. I am alway grateful for you stopping by my blog. Thanks, Kathy

This has got to be one of my fabourites amongst your cards. The enamel accents compliment your use of white dashes perfectly & the colours of those flowers are just stunning; it’s a lovely touch to have reversed the colouring of the two leaves. I have to say that PB flowers are just so varied & I’m thrilled by the sight of these.
