Penny Black’s Air Mail Feature

Hello Friends, How are things? I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend. Today at Penny Black’s blog you will finds lots of inspiring cards that feature the new transparent set called “Air Mail”.

Hello Friend

This transparent set is a fun stamp set to decorate your envelopes and or make some note cards with. I decided to do both. I designed two trio mini note cards with  Penny Black’s Mix & Match papers.

Hello Friend
I stamped the frame image & the sentiment with VersaFine (Onyx Black) for a crisp image on my white card bases. I stamped the paisley outline stamp with worn lipstick and marmalade. The edges were inked with rusty hinge and barn door. I used the darker distress inks to paint the scalloped boarder on the mini cards.

For the envelopes  I used a variety of distress inks to stamp and color the images.  I used a paint brush & some water using the same distress to fill in some of the images. Also added some inking on the edges for  a vintage look.

I really had fun decorating the envelopes something I don’t usually take the time to do. I found these quick and easy.

I saved the bag that the transparent set came in to fill with my set of six note cards and envelopes.

Have you put your name on my blog candy list? There are less than two days before I draw the winner.
I’ll be back wednesday to announce the winner. Have a great week and thanks for stopping. Hugs,Kathy

Especially want to thank you for the detailed descriptions of manufacturing processes, are always very interesting to discover something new. And thanks for the mood and inspiration, which are your works!
