Tie The Knot

Hello Friends, How are you today? I’m pretty excited Friday is just around the bend. Do you have any friends or family that are ready to Tie the Knot or just getting hitched?? This is the last day of my blooming flowers week on the Penny Black Blog and I want to leave you with two response cards that I have to send back to the bride & groom.

Resonse card

I have been adding something to response cards as long as I can remember. This one is so beautiful it took me awhile to decide what to color/stamp on it. The paper is like butter and the weight is so substantial! This had to be special because I have been lucky enough to watch this bride to be grow from a young teen into a beautiful woman. We are blessed to consider them part of our family.

Resonse card
I dotted the centers of the flowers with a glue pen and sprinkled it with “Earth” Ultra Fine Flower Soft. ( See the supply list at the bottom) Colored with Copics

My neighbor asked me to jazz this one up. It was a clean slate and the paper had an entirely different feel to it. This one required a background stamp in addition to the flower.

This application of flower soft is a bit different. Apply the Glossy Accents then pour on some Ultra Fine flower soft.

I’m going to try and turn in early tonight. Enjoy your day 🙂 Hugs, Kathy
P.S. If I owe you an email I plan on catching up this weekend. Thanks for your patience.

This is so unique and personal! Although RSVP is not very popular in my country, what you did is so nice! I am sure the receiver will keep your RSVP as remembrance! I would do the same if I receive something extra back on my RSVP.

Kathy, I was stunned by the beauty of the wedding reply cards you did! The brides will be delighted and most likely treasure them as keepsakes of their weddings. You made these reply into something beautiful and an unexpected surprise for the brides-to-be!

The second is my favourite here – but I was hard pushed to choose. I love the blues & how versatile you show this stamp to be. I love how personal you have made these RSVP cards – they’re no longer what they were but utterly individual.
Hope you have a good weekend.
