These were two simple cards that I made for the Penny Black catalog. I added embossed vellum on top of the butterflies. Here are some tips on that. All of these yummy papers are from the “Mix & Match” papers from Penny Black.
This one I really wanted to show the background stamp and had this blank spot on the card. I spied this antique pin on my bulletin board & it was just the thing I was looking for. If you are curious here is a photo of my super jumbo bulletin board.

the embossed vellum adds such amazing dimesnion to the butterflies & I love the way they’r scattered across the panels of the card. The background stamp on the second is gorgeouus – again adding such texture & the use of these two colours is quite amazing but the pin makes it very classy indeed.
