Paint the town – 50th Birthday Card

Hello Friends, I have a super quick post today for you. I made this card for a special friend who just recently turned 50. In April a group of us will go to Vegas to celebrate! You can see why I thought this Cityscape stamp would be perfect.
Paint the town
I love to divide the cityscape image up into three sections. On this particular card I put part of the image on the other side of the street. (I used Black Soot distress ink for the street) Here is another card that I designed with the cityscape. The heart is embossed on white paper with clear embossing powder then distressed with some blue distress inks. The tree’s oval is cut from my oval Nestablilities.

Paint the town

The distress inks I used for the background are listed below. I used a dauber for the rising “sun” behind the buildings. This marker is a must to create thin brick lines and some accents on the windows . Add a nice blob of Glossy Accents on the windows and I promise you will love the look. The sentiment on the front of the card I printed from my computer. The inside sentiments are wonderful  SRM stickers.

Paint the town
What are you plans for the weekend? I hope you have sunny sky’s and sweet breezes.  Hugs,Kathy

Love your “Paint the Town” 50th birthday card. I especially like the way you split the buildings and used both sides of the street! And the bluebird was a nice unexpected touch!
