SRM Blog Hop with some great prizes!

Hello Friends, Welcome to a fun day filled with hopping!  SRM stickers is having a blog hop and you will LOVE these PRIZES: There will be two random winners to each receive a Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 Crafting Kit & Mini Deck!

If you are just starting the hop you want to begin at the SRM BLOG here.  You might be coming from
the talented Nina Bracket’s blog here and if you are shaking your head yes….read on 🙂

The challenge at SRM is to create something family oriented with Cosmo’s “Circa” paper. My plan was to insert a photo into the ornament but, my photos didn’t come back in time so I used one of my favorites Penny Black stamps instead…. sorry 🙁
IMG_2130
I really enjoyed making this ornament. These papers are so rich and beautiful. I had some cardboard left over from some packaging that I ran through my Cuttlebug with the ornament die. I used some beige chunky glitter that gave me the look that I was going for. Sort of an icy, crystal like effect.
Happy Birthday
It’s so fun to cut the papers and create a center piece just by adding layers. Some machine stitching, pearls, and lace were easy to add for that extra something.

Happy Birthday

I even went all out and finished the inside. I admire anyone who does this on a regular basis.
Happy Birthday

Thanks so much for stopping by and hopping along with ME!!
This will be my last hop with SRM because my  DT term is almost over (it’s been almost one year) It has been a wonderful experience and  I encourage you to submit for their design team call coming soon. Don’t forget to check out Cosmo’s web site here and their blog here.
Now it’s time to hop over toJen Martakis’s blog. You might recognize her name because she designs digikits at Two Peas! Check them out here.

ONE MORE THING please scroll down to see a peek at one of Penny Black’s  NEW VALENTINE STAMPS!  Stop by the Penny Black blog to see some other sneak peeks too and get some great prizes all week long.
