Can you tell that this is a monochromatic card? I wasn’t sure if the sky and grass would qualify but, had to have that color so I went with it.
I had so much fun creating this card especially since my daughter is almost 16 the image was perfect for her. I used stormy sky for the background but, I picked up some other colors off of my mat so it came out a little blue green. The grass is shabby shutters.

Your distress ink backgrounds are so perfect. Do you have any tips for getting such a nice,even application? I always seem to get dark areas and lines from the foam applicator. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
