When life gets you down….

Hello Friends, Welcome to a full week of blog posts. Today we start off at Penny Black’s blog. You will find lots of inspiring cards. The theme is “Inside & Out” and I think you will look at the inside of your card a little differently perhaps.

Here is the FRONT of my card.

The idea is when life knocks you down you have to try and get back up as you see  INSIDE the card.
I typed the sentiment on the computer and punched out a caption bubble with a punch.

My daughter thinks I did this backwards. I hope you don’t ….
The pine tree was inked with pine needles and crushed olive distress ink then sprayed with perfect pearls mist. For the sky I used stormy sky distress ink.

When life gets you down....
This is how I cut up the hedgehog so I could cross create his fall. (Sorry for the bad photo.)
This was a pretty simple card to make. Just stamp your image two times and another on  a white panel for the inside. Cut all of your papers, distress your backgrounds, and find some markers. Add some stitching if you want.

Use some scrap paper to cut your snow banks, dry emboss them, cut out your images. Lay out your pieces and pop dot the front. That’s it in  a nut shell. Please let me know if you have any questions. I’ll be back tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

Supplies: ( just a quick click)
The letters “I am” on the inside are from Cosmo Cricket.
