We have a winner

and I would like to congratulate Christy S #73 for the winner of Penny Black’s Thorny Affair.

I always like to give a card as well so I made this for Christy.

I couldn’t find the right sentiment to fit on the busy background so I used a fine tip Sharpie marker and wrote the word “congrats” on the body of the butterfly. Just a quick post today I am in the throws of dinner and a project. I hope your weekend has been lovely. Hugs, Kathy

Striking! The colouring is outstanding and the contrast between vibrant butterfly and the monochrome background so effective!! still loving your white dots technique – MUST try it out some day. And the handwritten sentiment – wow. I would never dare to do that.
