Caardvarks and Penny Black

Hello Friends,  I am proud to say that Penny Black is sponsoring Caardvarks! Be on the lookout for prizes and Penny Black’s latest challenge is here. The prize is $100.00 in Penny Black stamps!

Here is some info you will want to bookmark: Penny Black’s WEBSITE,  BLOG, FACEBOOK, TWITTER AND FLICKR.

Doesn’t this stamp make you happy?

This card design was inspired by Ashley (another Penny Black designer) and she created a card like this for the Penny Black Catalog here. I loved it so much we will be making this card for a class I am teaching on Oct 24th. You can see the stamps below listed in the supplies.

All of these snowflakes are from the stamp that I randomly stamped off the paper and the circle. I used a white gel pen to enhance the snowflakes. The broken china distress ink on the edges draws your eyes in to the image. The hedgehogs copic colors are listed below too.

I am in love with any of Penny Black’s Mimi stamps and this angel is no exception.

I think it’s pretty cool how most of PB’s stamps can be used not only for holiday stamps but, for any occasion. This background was distressed with storm sky distress ink. I stamped and cut an extra pair of the wings to add dimension. Before you glue the wings add what ever stickles you have to them and use your finger to smudge more stickles around the angel’s head too.

If you haven’t already been to Caardvarks  you will want to see the amazing cards that the design team created for you at the Caardvark blog. As always I really appreciate you stopping by. Have a great day. Hugs,Kathy
