A New Squigglefly Challenge

The challenge this week is to create a bookmark and I think it’s a great idea. My mom is an avid reader so I took this opportunity to create one for her for this Mother’s Day. The image was easy…I have a digi fairy that drops these awesome images in my inbox every so often so I get real excited to create. You can get this image designed by Jackie Mathews at Squigglefly HERE . The challenge details you can find on Squigglefly’s blog HERE .

Hero Arts: Friendship Definition #CG125 (background on petals)-Screen, K5107 (on flower pot)-Starburst Lace, S5317 (on bottom of kraft)-Happy Mom’s CL334 (sentiment) -Punch EK Success Open Scallop-Ranger Distress Inks

I had fun coloring this adorable image. Yes, you guessed it…I used Copic markers, cut the leaves, stamped them and the flower pot then glued them onto another image. The first paper I made a long time ago with some color washes. I love how the ribbon fit right into the loopy boarder and I added Glossy Accents on the ladybug and eyes. The punch is from EK Success. Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Kathy
