The Greeting Farm Battle Week #3

If you haven’t heard by now The Greeting Farm is hosting The American Idol of card making….that’s my way to describe it. You have a team, a challenge and then everyone votes to bring you through to the next battle. Leaving a comment counts as your vote . The lovely Fika and Deirdre are my team members and we named ourselves “The Dream Team” . Dee make an awesome card for the first challenge and it took us to week two with amazing retro card.

Then Fika had the next challenge which was to make a easel card and this stunner took us to Battle #3

and now this is my entry for Battle Number THREE…..So if you are interested in seeing the other entries click  HERE for Battle Number THREE.

The  link to vote for this in the gallery HERE but, beware you have to register and if you comment that’s your vote. The competition is stiff so we would love for you go and vote for your favorite top 3. Hopefully you will like ours best. Have a great week and as they say “let the battle begin”
Hugs,Kathy

Kathy, i seen this better now, and still amaze with your attention to details in your LO, like curving the banner, little white outline of your photo, coloring, stitching and shading.. all is PERFECT!! Awesome job Kathy, then we just wait for people’s vote.. 🙂

Hi Kathy! Just wanted to pop in & say:

    a) thanks for the super sweet comments on my blog & big hugs to your daughter!
    b) that lo was actually created by my team member, Tanya Rudd – you can see more of her work at http://www.trudd.blogspot.com
and, c) LOVE your lo with the hot air balloons!! Did you draw them based on the TGF one, or did you scan & enlarge that one? And the chicken – hehehe, I love how you added the chicken!!

    Have a great day!

    Hi Kathy,

I especially love your hot air balloon card. A spirit of fun, and almost literally uplift is reflected here. It seems to say, “We are on a trip, and it’s great to be free!” Love the other balloon “riders,” who again add to the sense of whimsy. Rachel
