Sharing Some Hybrid Digi Cards

Hello Friends and Blog Friends,
I just want to tell you how much your comments mean to me…they really brighten my day  but, please don’t feel like you need to leave one. As I’m sure you know each comment comes through in my email inbox and I leave it there as a reminder to get to your blog. It’s been so dismal and gloomy here that I feel super grouchy and just want to complain about anything and everything AND I have a bad cold!  I hope you week is starting out better. Sorry to be a “Debbie Downer”…. Hugs,Kathy

Just Saying

For this card I decided to recolor some of the papers and butterflies in this DigiKit. After cutting the butterflies I used my Cuttlebug to add some texture to the wings. This DigiKit is called This Year by Pamela Parr available HERE and the sentiment stamp HERE

Sending Smiles

These spring papers and elements are from Holly Brook Jones called Waiting For Spring. I enlarged the butterflies, cut them out, stamped some text on them, distressed the wings and added some faux stitching with a white gel pen available HERE.

Big City

CIMG2677

These digi papers from Vinnie Pearce called Art Papers are so dramatic and I think they are perfect for a masculine card. This particular paper looks like a city scape to me so I paired it with a Hero Arts stamp called Cityscape. I used pop dots for one of the buildings and added Glossy Accents to make the windows look realistic. DigiKit available HERE and the stamp HERE
